Rimworld removed roof still there.
Rock roof mod is a simple mod just to patch core.
High cover consists of any wall constructed or otherwise which a character can lean around to shoot enemies if they re standing next to the wall.
I made the mistake of building the cooler before the wall and forgetting you need both on the same tile so there was a gap in my room where the cooler was.

This means that the largest square room you can have is 10x10 internal.
That made them only build 40 of the roof.
So i have a wind turbine two tiles away from any walls.
If there is no supporting wall or rock within 6 tiles no roof will be built.

A roof collapses if there s no support rock wall within 6 squares of the tile.
Roof collapses cause injuries to colonists and damage items.
A roof will collapse if the last supporting wall or rock is removed whether by mining deconstruction or destruction.
There are no roofs over it.
It will still have a thick roof but it will now be supported by your buildings instead of the rock.
Just build as normal ignoring the block and when you have walls in that area remove the block.

How to remove thick roofs overhead mountain use the regular remove roof area option found in the architect zone area menu to draw an orange area above the roof you want to remove.
If you removed 2 entire walls and the corner between those two sides last then that roof was too far away from any other supports.
I uninstalled it and reinstalled it.
With detailed personalities specific damage and new places to survive rimworld is shaping up to be everything we d hoped.
