Rimworld Building Roof

I have tried building even a small 5x5 room and it still does not roof up.

They would not see each others roofs. I built a buidling with walls and floors and a door but for some reason it has no roof. So in my case i had expanded the room and 20 of it was left unroofed. It seems the roof building is triggered only upon completion of an enclosed room.

If that distance is more then that then you will only get a partial roof around everywhere but the position where it lacks enough support 2 roof construction is a low priority. I deconstructed the door then rebuilt it.
